I keep having dreams that I start doing drugs again and get fired/lose my apartment.

That was 6 years ago today.

I joined the tracks on each CD instead of uploading each song separately.

Remember that Depeche Mode concert I went to awhile back?
August 10th.
At the concert I purchased a code to get myself a copy of the concert on CD.
I redeemed it the next day.
I had long since written that 30 or so dollars off as a loss.
I got the CD yesterday.
I'll upload it in the next few days for those who want it.

I would also like to thank the beautiful christhegeek of My Best Friend Sewing for creating and mailing 5 of her lovely hats to the family for Christmas. (She is the talented creator of those awesome squid hats I was wearing a couple months ago, and is offering lots of squids, octopuses and other cute and silly hats in her Etsy store.)

I don't have any boxes or anything to wrap Matt's Xbox games in and since we've given up DVDs, he will suspect something if I wrap them as is since they're pretty obvious in size, shape and shake-factor.

So, my plan is to wrap them as is, but hide them around the house and make him hunt for them after he opens the Xbox.

This is going to be awesome.

Still sick.
I think I'm getting a sinus infection. But, I've fought those off before without meds. It's just been awhile.
My temp was 97 the last I checked.
The thing I hate the most is that there are moments when I'm fine and moments when I'm not. And, I'm supposed to be able to tell the future several hours to a full day before a shift so that I can let them know if I'll be in. I don't blame them for needing to know. They absolutely need to know. I just hate the added pressure.
As it stands now, I'm going in. But, my shift doesn't start until 3. It ends at 11:30 and then my next shift starts at 10am the following morning and goes until 6:30pm.

Another one of my problems with being sick stems from the fact that I had so many migraines as a child. They've distorted my view of what "sick" means. When I had a migraine I might as well have been unconscious except for the intense pain. Having a cold or the flu almost feels normal when compared to how bad migraines feel to me. So, the fact that I'm not flat on my back, writhing in pain, makes my head say I'm a wuss if I don't just trudge through whatever it is I need to do.

My friend Tree just moved in with his lady, Holiday, and as I addressed a Christmas card to the two of them together this year, I couldn't help but wonder what the mailman was going to think when he saw, "Holiday and Tree" on the envelope.

Have I told you guys how flipping amazing you are? Thanks to you good folks, this wonderful family is going to have a Christmas.
